LOL I suppose I should answer this thread shouldn't I? To put it somply, yes there will be fights between players. It will be handled in a slightly different manor than my normal fights, but be assured...the time will come...MWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! ~hack cough~ Laughing's hard.

When is more up to us than it is to him. We can have our characters meet up with each other a lot faster than Edric can alter fate to have us do so without defying physics.

True, I just control the world, not the characters themselves. There is only so much I can do about giving chances. The outcome of attacks on the other hand...that is my area. So even if you fight, I still need to be there to keep it all fair

I just realized, how are we going to do it? Are we going to declare our moves publicly or are we going to PM them to Edric?
If we choose the latter, are we going to include dialog? As in, something like this:

Actually....here is how the flow of PvP will work. I will use an example with Kylie...
~gets bopped on the back of the head~
Kylie: I still owe you a beatdown.
Rock: Yes yes, I know and that will be in the game sometime. Now...example please?
~the world goes all swirly and the battle music starts~

Kylie gives a deep glare at Rock from across the room. This boy had this battle a long time in coming and she intended to pay him back for her last defeat.
Kylie: ROCK! You're going down! Rayquaza! Go! Start off with Dragon claw!
(League Champion Rock posts second)
Rock blinks, having honestly not expected this kind of reception upon their next meeting. As he reaches and pulls releases his Espeon for battle. He gives a gulp. She was really serious this time.
Rock: Espeon! Go for your Psychic attack! We need to do damage and FAST!
(Moderater Rock posts)
The Rayquaza dives down, its hand wreathed in flames as it charges it's Dragon Claw attack. In defiance, Espeopn gives a bright glow before releasing the powerful move...Psychic. The attack blasts Rayquaza, but does not stop it's dive. The Dragon Claw hits, sending the much smaller pokemon tumbling across the arena.

Ok just wanted to make sure. At a different site I was in an RP where two people fought and because there was no DM nor limit on moves, their pokemon were dodging everything or waking up at the last minute. It was hectic.

Yeah, that's the problem without having a DM of some sort. There's no way to actually enforce the fact that SOMEONE has to lose. It's be like...I dunno...letting Yugi fight himself. It's be a huge standstill cause he'd always pull just the right card for the moment. >_> evil convenient plot devices.
