Oh yeah...that one...I vaguely remember that. Still...he normally sqeeks by through sheer luck.
Not to mention I'm still pissed off that they didn't let Joey beat Marik or Kaiba >_>

Hell yeah. Joey was always my favorite because he was the only non-Ancient person there. Even before Kaiba had that past life in Egypt, he was still filty rich and had access to all the cards he needed. Joey was only dueling on wit and skill.
While we're on the topic of Merik, that story ended horribly. With the way they were subtly making Kaiba an evil character and yet making him the only one who had that card that could beat Ra, all the matches could have gone either way.
But once it was Yugi vs. Marik, you knew who was going to win.

Yeah, we all know Kaiba is just naturally a jerk. There isn't much that any ancient person can do for him.
I love watching Joey duel. He's got a lot of luck based cards and his reactions whenever he gets what he needs are just awesome. It's also fun to watch Joey and Mai duel. Those two crack me up.

Joey's also cool because he has that God-like poker face. I swear there were actually times when I thought he would really lose just because of how little enthusiasm he pretended to show.

I think he got that from way back when he was a street thug. Him and Honda have a pretty cool backstory and the actual first 8 manga books of Yu-Gi-Oh only have a few card duels. The rest is pretty much backstory. It made me respect Joey a lot more reading those books cause he's not just some tag-along.

Who's Honda? Did he have a job with a car company or something?

>_< ok...no more manga for me. In the manga they use all the Japanese names and I kinda got used to the names.

Manga's aren't bad. I've been reading the manga summeries for pokemon on serebii and they are a lot better than the anime.

You have no idea how much better the manga pokemon is better than the anime. For one...Red (not Ash) is a fairly competent pokemon trainer. Sure he still uses a bit of luck and he's pretty headstrong, but he's not so bad that he has to have two people traveling with him to keep him out of trouble.

Yeah I know. I've read all the way through to the end of the Yellow series.

That's all the manga I could find sadly. A pity really cause I really would like to see the rest of the series.

Just head over to serebii and check out the Manga section. They've got most of RSE and FRLG done. Plus all of RBG, Y, and GSC done.

YAR!!! I should do that while at work though...if I'm at home I get caught up in videogames or talking to friends online...^^; my 3 day FF Online binge may have been good for the Ninja and Warrior levels...but I completely forgot about everything else. Good stuff for swithing shifts though.
