It just seems to take something out of the RP if we are unbeatable to all but each other. I say, Edric needs to put us in impossible to win scenarios to start us off, and gradually has us off and on lose to people about our skill level.
What do you guys and gal think?

(less than 3 and a half minutes until dinner is ready. I post quickly.)
Not rub what in? I'm willing to take a loss on the next trainer David faces.

You're doing the forum a great service then. You're the second highest poster next to Edric. If you lose, it shows us that we can lose and doesn't make the rest of us feel as bad.
Karma for you. Here and on the P-X boards.

I understand where you are going with this dave. But it mostly depends on what situation the person is in and who s\he is battling. like the event banov is in sorry banov but I don't see how kecleon could get out of this predicament

Actually...if you work something out with Rock on how it will work, there is one way your character might be able to win. Let me check something.

Yup, it would be legal. You have one thing in your bag of tricks that may be able to get you to win. It's extremely iffy but you don't have many choices left.

"There are no lessons in winning but a thousand lessons in defeat..." ~Master Fung from Xiaolin Showdown(or something like that if it's not the exact words)
Losing every now and then doesn't really sound too bad- I mean it builds character. Sometimes a defeat could give openings to reveal a few secrets of a character. Sure, my character would be entirely miffed (but will never show it on her face because then that laugh would intensify hundredfold and shatter Rei's hearing for good) if Gwen goes in and hands her behind back to her on a silver platter, but it would be a rather fun post to write.
But as RAZEK says, it mostly depends on the situation and who the person is battling.

You do know that quote doesn't originate from that show, right?

Yeah, I know. But that's pretty much the last place I've heard of the quote. So, it's Unknown.
