Hey all,
I recently noticed that all of the character profiles are written from the 3rd person- as in it look like somebody else is talking about the character in mind- when it really is the characters themselves writing about themselves.
This topic is for all of us to write ech other a 3rd-Person Profile for our fellow RPers. Because usually what other people say about you is more true than what you say about yourself.
I'll start it off by profiling a couple people. Feel free to right your own of the same people and whatnot, but let's not try to use this as a chance to insult one another on purpose; but at the same time try to be honest.
------------------
Dave
Dave is one of the more arrogant trainers in the world, that's for sure. He's grown up living by his father's words of wisdom, which have given him an edge in battle every time, but this is often overshadowed by his arrogance, always treating himself as a step smarter and a step ahead than his opponent- be this true or not. However, unlike many he can back this up with one of the most clever battling styles ever seen, always focusing on the situation and turning that into an advantage.
In person he can often be witty, but much of what he does is weighed down by the fact that he is a hopeless flirter. Be it asking out an NPC in Johto or instantly referring to Kylie (this is Kylie, mind you.) as his girlfriend as a cover, his mind often seems to be turned at the girls and his relationship with 'em. It's safe to say that women are his weakness.
He tends to do the right thing, but he won't always be the first one to stand up and fight for what's right; sometimes there are other things he'd just rather be doing. Not that this is wrong, as everyday people do nothing at all to fight for good.
---------------------------------
Rei
Ever since an early life tragedy, Rei's gained a rather depressing persona, although in truth her emotions show a full rainbow of possibilities, from overly angry to utterly calm to rock-bottom depressed... to sometimes even the lightest of joy.
She's very compassionate towards pokemon, and will always be the first to take one in and care for it; she goes through a lot daily to help her pokemon, grooming them and making them her own personal food every morning.
In battle, her style is a bit different; find a weakness and pick at it. Oftentimes her battle commands will become repetitive, often doing dimiliar moves again and again; once she finds something that works, she'll do it all right. However, this same strategy lead to her downfall against the Dude in a Blackthorn conyest, as repetitive moves became stale compared to him. This strategy tends to bring her victory in battle, however.
She's not afraid to do the right thing when the time comes, and she'll always be among the first to act, then usually end up racing off alongside the other early acters.
