It's gray, dull and overcast over the bustling port city of Olivine. You can hear the moans of boats in the pier, and no matter where you are in town, the tall lighthouse is in clear sight. Welcome to Johto!

Kimiko looked around and gazed in wonderment. She hasn't been to Johto before! An oh so totally new experience for her... too bad the sky is gray, sun would of been tops. She munched on a cheeseburger, and walked around for a bit. Mint was occupying itself a bit, twirling around. Melody the Feebas was... out of water and flopping up and down to move as the Kirlia did her steps, possibly trying to replicate it in her own fishy way... People gave odd stares- are they street performers?
They just traversed along to the beat of their own drum, oblivious to the stares of the passerby.

Distracted as they are, it's certainly tough to ignore the explosions that go off ahead very suddenly. With a load crack and flash of light, the stone street is sent into dozens of pieces, shattered remains of it clattering around. And out from the explosion's epicenter runs a familiar green clad girl, giggling wildly.
"Haha! Awesome! That was louder than I thought!"
She seems to have attracted many angry glares of nearby citizens. She remains oblivious, cackling to herself as they begin to approach her...

"Ah.. home sweet home," Vei thought aloud. "Though, I admit. I didn't expect to be back so soon."
Quite frankly, I'd just come back to find something. I need a better fishing rod. The trusty Old Rod isn't really cutting it -- and fishing up Magikarp all of the time is starting to get old after.. a year?
"I wonder if Father knows where one of the other Fishing Gurus are.."
Azure was just sitting quietly beside his trainer. Magikarp was hiding out in his Pokeball. Vei was sitting as well, on the docks but close to the inner city. He got out the Old Rod and began to cast out, but a series of explosions rang in his ear. Turning to it, he felt irked.
"Uhm. I thought Team Rocket and all of them disbanded..." Azure growled positively.
"Well, this is our town. Let's see what's happening." Azure squeaked with excitement. [Maybe battle!] "Yeah, sure." The two marched onward, into the abyss of the unknown~... not.
Upon arriving at the rising smoke clouds, Vei noticed very little aside from the cloud of people closing in on a girl.

At this point Iza takes notice of the crowd gathering around her. She gives a small nervous squeak, edging herself away. "Come on..." she pleads, "Just some harmless explosives... nobody got hurt..."
She backs into Vei, and with a jump turns to face him. "You agree, don't you? We could all use some light explosives in our everyday lives!"

Vei looked up to the taller girl, and blinked. "I guess. But this is kind of my home." He scratched his head. "I don't know what you were intending, but everyone around here doesn't seem to like it in any sense. Ah, look. There's one with a pitchfork."
Azure hopped onto Vei's shoulder and nodded. ~Dile!~

I don't know what you were intending, but... At that Iza went into a daze. No, she didn't really know what her intention was, either. She hadn't really considered motive or purpose; rather, she'd seen explosives for sale, and hey, before she knew it here she was.
This thought process was very difficult to explain to others, especially when they were growling and holding pitchforks.
"...I think this is my cue to get the hell out of here."
On her back materialized a green lizard, previously appearing as a simple red zigzag pattern on her shirt. It whips its tongue around wildly, striking others--Vei included--and making a pathway for escape.
Iza bolts.

...I think this is my cue to get the hell out of here.
"Wait, what?" Vei blurted before being whipped across the head. "Oww.. clever girl."
Rubbing his temple, he idly noted, "Alright, guys.. calm down. Mister Granite, please put down the pitchfork." He knew the townsfolk, but he was unsure of his effect. "In the meantime.. I'll head after her."
This kind of feels like a misunderstanding, he thought. He only barely caught a glimpse as to where she ran off to, but he thought it best to not run for the moment. Instead, he got up and began to walk in the supposed direction.
As he walked off, he noted, "Ahh.. I think the people aren't going to let me do this on my own.. they're going to track her themselves. Oh well. I wonder where she went..."

Iza wasn't very far off, actually. She'd quickly ducked into an alleyway, and was now cautiously glancing back out on the road to see if the townsfolk passed by yet.
Unfortunately, she once again found herself looking right at Vei; her head was craned out past the corner, and she curses and jumps back when the boy spots her. Hardly a moment of hesitation, she has kecleon scale the wall behind her, quite invisibly, then lay still. To common passerby, he'd be an unremarkable red pattern on the wall a few feet over Iza's head.

Vei spent a slow moment to scan the area ahead of him. He deadpanned when the girl's head sticking out from the alley. As she darted back in, he chuckled to himself and began to walk over, head still throbbing. "You didn't hide yourself that well.." he muttered.
As he reached the corner, before he turned he called out to the girl, "That alley's a dead end.. you'd be hard-pressed to get out. Please don't do anything drastic.." He rubbed his head. That whip was unpleasant.

Iza glances around furtively. She didn't seem to listen to anything Vei said. "Shhh... please... don't let the townspeople find me? You get me, don't you? In your own little way? I didn't mean to hurt anyone."
She takes a cautious step back.

Vei felt like he was cornering an animal. It felt weird. "Well, even if I understood you, they might not. So you should apologize to them, at least.."
He sighed, and rounded the corner. "Look, just.." He was at a loss for words. What does he say to someone in this situation? He scratched his head and looked at the angry mob that crowded around the broken parts of the street. They paid no mind to him.
What a bother.

Ha ha! Vei had turned his back to her. That was a mistake; she'd lured him into a false sense o security with her pleading. A dark sneer grew on her face, and she quietly crept up close to him, staying low.
Now, where on his person does he keep his cash?
((Does Vei have a backpack or anything I can search? xp ))

Vei spacing out... that's not unusual at all. However, he swiftly turned back to the girl. "So, what's your name, miss? I'm Vei." He failed to notice the change in distance between them, and even if he did he wouldn't have thought anything of it.
Azure was still hanging on his shoulder. He was just as oblivious as his trainer, and played with the thin chain around Vei's neck.
((For reference, just pockets.))

Iza's eyes explode wide open in surprise. She quickly straightens up, lightly clearing her throat, getting back her composure. "My name's Iza. It's nice to meet you!"
She opens her arms wide for a hug.
