Natural Level Up Evolution
For the vast majority of all Pokemon, evolution comes with earning levels. In no way shape or form has this changed than it has in the video games. Pokemon can evolve at any time once they approach the correct level as dictated by the games. For example, when a Bulbasaur has fought a certain number of times and has reached level 16, it will have the *option* of evolving. In no way, shape, or form are you required to evolve your Pokemon. However, no evolutionary form may be skipped.
Stone Evolution
Pokemon that evolve with stones must be at a particular level in order to evolve to the next stage. For convince’ sake, this level will be 20. Once the pokemon in question has reached level 20, you must obtain the necessary stone through roleplay, and then it may be used to evolve said pokemon.
Eevee will have the option to evolve into Espeon, Umbreon, Leafia or Glacia when it reaches level 20.
Trade/Item Evolution
For ease, they will evolve through typical level-up.
Alakazam: Level 35
Machamp: Level 35
Golem: Level 35
Gengar: Level 35
Pokemon that evolve by being trading when holding an item will evolve in ways similar to both level-up and stone evolution.
Clamperl: Level 10
Seadra: Level 45
Poliwhirl: Level 25
Slowpoke: 37
Onix: 30
Scyther: 30
Porygon: 20
Porygon 2: 25
Rhydon: 50
Electabuzz: 40
Magmar: 40
Dusclops: 50
Item Level-Up Evolution
The following Pokemon already require simple level-up while holding an item.
Gligar: 30
Sneasel: 30
Happiny: 10
Location Evolution
In the games, these Pokemon evolve by leveling them in particular areas. While technically possible with proper roleplaying, we'd prefer to keep things balanced, so they will evolve with the regular level-up process.
Magneton: 45
Nosepass: 30
Mantyke: 15
Friendship Evolution
There are quite a few Pokemon that evolve based on that Pokemon’s friendship with its trainer. After reaching the appropriate level it will evolve.
Golbat: 30
Chansey: 30
Eevee: 20
Pichu: 15
Cleffa: 15
Igglybuff: 15
Togepi: 15
Azurill: 15
Budew: 15
Chingling:15
Riolu: 20
Attack Evolution
A select few Pokemon evolve as soon as they learn a particular attack. As we don't follow typical attack rules, instead these Pokemon evolve at the level at which they would learn said move in the game. The exception is Piloswine, as Ancient Power is a level 0 move for it.
Lickitung: 33
Tangela: 33
Aipom: 32
Yanma: 33
Piloswine: 42
Bonsly: 20
Mime Jr.: 20
Shedinja's Evolution
Shedinja's evolution is a special case, but here, it's handed very simply. When Nincada finally evolves into Ninjask, if the player has an open slot, a Shedinja will appear from the discarded shell. If the player does NOT have an open slot, then the shell will just shatter into dust. Shedinja will have the same EXP and Level as Nincada when it evolved. Warning, Shedinja does not do much of anything and is very brittle.
Fossil Pokemon
Because fossil pokemon's evolutions in the games are based on the levels at which they are obtained, all fossil pokemon will reach their second stage at level 20 when leveled up here.
If there are any other exceptions you would like to include, this is the place to ask.
