As he heads downstairs Banov quickly relays to his master that he's got another partner coming with him. His master isn't particularly happy about this, but now it's too late to change anything.
Banov arrives downstairs, to find a complex system of hallways. You can hear many people bumbling around from inside; this place is crammed with trainers.
"Look like we may have to split up." Banov says, turning back, "Or we could saty in groups. What do you guys think?"
He blinks as he noticed the newcomer's followed him. "If you're going to help," he adds, "I neeed to at least know your name. Who are you?"

David extended his hand to the boy. "My name's David and I say we stay as a group since I have no idea what we're doing down here."

"I agree with David about staying as a group. Who knows what could be lurking 'round here." The girl replied, her eyes gave shifty glances around her surroundings.

"Uh, okay."
As Bnov turns and heads forward, you'd notice that now that he's in the real deal he doesn't look quite so on top of things. As yo turn the first corner you can see him shiver a little.
"Hey! You!" A man in black dashes forward, freaking Banov out the points where he flails his arms and screams loudly.
"GAHH!"
This, or course, alerts several other nearby members of your prescense, all coming forward and releasing their pokemon; "You face down a totla of 6 pokemon.
A zubat, a golbat, two raticate, an arbok and a gloom face you down now.
Standing up and shivering, Banov says "Okay, we each take two. I'll take the two raticate. You uys divide up the rest as you wish!"
He then releases a two-headed brown dodo, AKA doduo, who leaps into battle with an enthusiastic yell, and beside it a rather angry-looking yellow rodent, pikachu who growls angirly at the two raticate.
"Fury Attack! Thunderbolt!"

"I'll take the snake and the freaky flower." David said. "Go Charcolt and Burner!" His charmeleon and magmar materialized in front of him.
"Charcolt, use flamethrower on the gloom. Burner, mud slap that snake."

Okay then... That just leaves her with two to take down... But she only has two non-Hoenn pokemon that are physically able since she doesn't want to draw too much attention to her team. She released a Chikorita and a Vulpix. The leaf pokemon seemed to of have minor burns on her legs and on her leaf but stands proudly. The Vulpix stood her ground, boasting her presence with a wicked gleam in her eye, ready to reak havok.
"Guess that leaves me with the bats..." Not her lucky day. "Faye, shoot down that Golbat with Hidden Power! Lily, Poisonpowder on the Zubat!"

((Rei, what type is the hidden power?))
Banov's Battle: Both attacks land very quickly on one raticate. Evidently this isn't a high-level enemy, as already the raticate looks ready to drop. It flinches, but its partner leaps out from behind Banov's pokemon and attacks the pikachu with its large tooth, which sinks into the rodent rather gruesomely. Dodu the doduo quickly leaps to its partner's help, bashing away the attacking ratticate with its large beak, but both are now surrounded....
Dave's Battle: The magmar digs its claws into the ground, ripping up a hunk of dirt and splattering it into the snake's eyes. It doesn't do much damage but the snake's been immobilized for a bit; meanwhile charcolt blasts the victreebell, doing a good amount of damage, but it pulls through and counterattacks by whipping the lizard with its long vine, knocking it off its feet.
Rei's Battle: The small chicorita breathes out a puff of purple fuzz, but it washes over the zubat with no effect. The bat quickly counters with a terrible shriek, causing chikorita to become temporarily immobilized. The vulpix, meanwhile, leaps at the golbat and claws at it, the wounds immediately exploding with an unknown element and causing the golbat to get a bit woozy, immobilizing that Pokemon for a bit. For this next turn its just vulpix and the zubat who are able to attack, so both leap at each other...
EDIT: I'm going out for a bit, evidently, for dinner. Be, be back hopefully soon, but probably not....
EDIT 2: Or not? I'm getting confused. I guess I may head out at any point, though.

((The Type is Electric. Sorry about not mentioning it eariler.))
She looked up at the damage and surveyed wheter or not to keep the leaf pokemon out. She seems to be okay for the moment, just not really in condition to attack for now. "Faye, Quick Attack to get closer then fire a short range Flamethrower!"

(Am I facing a gloom or a victorybell?)
"Charcolt, don't let that freak-of-nature plant show you up. Give it another flamethower and make this one count. Burner, use double team."

((Oops, sorry about that Dave. My bad.. it's gloom.))
Banov's Battle "Guys, finish the first raticate!" With that the two leap at the weakened raticate, double teamijng on it and causing it to faint. Standing together, they look like an intimidating duo, scaring the other off from atttacking.
Dave's Battle Just as arbok gets back into the fight and leaps at magmar, it hits air as the fire duck splits into two illusionary images the snake gives another bite but guesses wrong, and thus is prone to the fire punch that lands immedietly afterwards. It goes flying back, hitting its gloom partner, knocking it off its feet and getting both hit by a close-range flamethrower. Both now look just about ready to faint one more blow eahc ought to finish it.
Rei's Battle Just before hitting the zubat the vulpix accelarates, smacking it had enough to neautralize the bat's movement, the zubat coming to a complete stop. A close-range flamethrower quickly dispatches of the weak zubat, although it still looks ready to take maybe one more hit before collapsing. In the meantime Golbat has come back to its senses, slapping the chikorita away with its wing. It doesuite a bit of damage to the poor grass pokemon, who painfully lands on her fee, but she's back to her senses now and ready to fight again.

"Lily, raise your defenses with a Reflect then Tackle the Zubat. Faye, use Will-O-Wisp on the Golbat, then follow up with another Hidden Power!"

The chikorita glows blue and creates a wall of blue light, then leaps at the weakened zubat. It swings it wing as the little plant pokemon, but the attack barely phases it after passing trough the blue shiwld and the bat is defeated woth a tackle from chikorita.
Golbat rushes over to attack chikorita then, but stops when it is smacked by a superhot will-o-wisp, severly burning the pokemon. It barely has time to turn around and look before thre red fox is upon it, clawing it and releasing an electric explosion through the wounds.
The bat falls down, but manages to right itself up before the burns force it to fiant again, this time not getting up.

'Well... At least those bats were finished off before they had the idea to use Leech Life...' She sighed with relief, returning the Chikorita back to her pokeball, leaving Faye by her side. The fire fox, stared intently at Dave's battle. Rei took the time to look at her surroundings carefully this time.

From where Rei is, there isn't much to see. The hall goes down for a while, with lots of rooms branching in and out. Otherwise, not much else to see besides the battles (it sucks that we have to wait for Dave >_o This is why I suggested splitting up)
