Smiles brightly.
"Here we go Flora! This is our opening! Use your Leech Seed to wrap it up, you've got a clear shot!"

By the time it notices the tiny seed speeding at it, it's too late, it swerves to the side only just after being struck by the seed, missing Flora by a close inch as it loses energy and in effect air as the leech seed saps away strength slowly.
It falls to the ground, but weakly stands and seems to be preparing for a final charge. Time to finish it!

Rayn beams. The Leech Seed defense looked like it has worked again! Sweetess!
"Ok Flora! Time for our finishing move! Use your full body tackle on the Hoothoot!"

Folra nods, charging forward and crushing hoothoot under its weight. Congrats!
However, your cheery victory is not met with quite the same demeanor from the Monk; "He solemnly draws in hoothoot and at the same time releases his final pokemon; at first it's difficult to see, but as the black fog ghost pokemon takes some form you feel a similiar chiill as you felt when downstairs- that chill which signifies the prescense of ghost pokemon- ghastly, to be specific."
((I'd like to end my DMing here for the day. I'm working on my rpg seperatley and I'd like to multitask between only two things at a time.))

Rayn shivers slightly.
"So...that's what was giving us a chil on the way up here...Ok Flora, this isn't going to be easy, but let's go for it! You should still have energy from being in the sun earlier. Let's go for broke! Vine Whip now!"
After all, the poor little Bulbasaur probably can't use Solar Beam at this level...but it uses sunrays to stay energized.

((I've been trying to make this clear but it's difficult; that chill you felt was a wild ghastly, which you can catch if you want.))
It nods, whipping at what looks to be the source of the fog; a thick ball of black energy. It strikes the ball, but doesn't seem to do much. The fog seems to be enveloping the room in darkness; after all, darkness is where ghastly is strongest. This serves to weaken Flora quite a bit.
However, by chance, your whip hits a wall behind it and cracks it just a bit to let it a peek of sunlight. This makes the fog wince and immedietly focuses on closing off the small source of light.
Hmmmmm...

Rayn gives a sigh, poor Flora can't learn Sunny Day and she's too low a level to know Solar Beam.
"Don't worry Flora...I think we have our way to win. Razor Leaf at the cieling Flora. Let's get us some sunshine!"

It nods and send s a flurry of sharp leaves, which gnash at the ceiling and allow sweet, sweet sunlight to pout in. Three openings are just too numerous and the great black fog shrinks until finally you can see a face a small focused black ball with a very mslal bit of fog surrounding it.
Now maybe the fight'll be more interesting!

Rayn beams.
"That's what I'm talking about Flora! Aim for that face! Like the Bellsprout we'll be flexible so use Vine Whip!"

It nods, giving a wide grin as it smacks down hard on the ghost poekmon, who winces; however, this lil' bugger's much more competent then his parters, retaliating with a blast of black energy wwhich envelopes and seems to almost strangle Flora, who's so dependant on light. Eventually the attack fades, but looking at Flora her condition looks iffy.
((FYI, ghastly's attack was Night Shade))
