The machine has a few selections, Juice for 200, Lemonaide for 400 and a variety of actual sodas for 600 a can. Not a big deal since coins come in 100, 200, and 500 amounts. There isn't much else here, it odd that this one doesn't have water though. Most vending machines have water these days.

(I'm back and this time it's personal)
The different selections of drinks tempted him. He had more money that he really needed right a the moment and he'd also heard that pokémon tend to like different kinds of drinks. In the end he decides to buy a few of each. 3 Juices, 3 Lemonaids and 3 different types of sodas.

(( Welcome back dude ^_^ ))
You get the drinks, which are fairly well priced to be truthful, and put them in your backpack. However, there doesn't seem to be anything odd with the soda machine. It is while you are inspecting it, that you will hear a slight electrical humm from the water fountain as well, as if it too would have wires connected to it.

While he did think of opening one of his newly purchased sodas the water fountain proved to be too much of a good thing for him to pass up. He turned it on and drakn from it for a moment before noticing that a loud hum was hurting his ears just a bit. He inspected the water foundtain looking for the source of the hum on the machine.

There will be a little searching until you find the panel where the vent of the fountain is. Another moment and the panel will come off in your hand revealing a blue wire that seems to have come unconnected from its spot.

He'd always loved tinkering with machines and in fact had learned quite a bit about them and even had a few designs for rather unique ones in his pack. Well unique to him anyway, anyone with a shred of common sense would have said they were crazy. He reattached the blue wire and wait to see what happened.

Once more you will hear a small humm and a click in the distance as you connect another of the opening locks for the entrance into the back. Two down and two more to go. Still...in this day and age, who uses a water fountain? The owner of the gym HAS to be old.

Foward he went, deeper into the gym. He was a surprised that hasty gym trainers had not been around to try and challenge him. Perhaps they were all too busy with their own things, he thought. He could see people training their pokemon and one who was messing with a guitar. He hoped he wouldn't have to be in here too much longer.

Truely this place is an oddity among gyms in that respect. In fact, it seems more like a hangout than a gym. For a moment you have to squint your eyes from the sun beaming down on you...then you remember the next part of the riddle. The brown wire where the sun doth shine...it should be around here somewhere...but it's pretty well hidden.

Indeed the glare was almost too much for his eyes to make out anything. He knew he'd need help with this. His pokemon might be able to help him. With a flick of his wrist he called out Anortith. Being so low to the ground he figured it would have a good chance of finding a wire if it was hidden in the floor. "Anorith poke around on the floor and see if you find anything like a wire."

Anorith blinks, having never been out of the room that it had been caught in before. Slowly, it begins poking around the floow with its feet, looking for holes and crevices until finally it starts trying to dig at one spot in the floor.

He follows Anorith closely hoping it might have spotted something. Watching the pokemon did his eyes light up with hope. "What'd ya find Anorith?"

Anorith moves out of the way, pointing down in the hole and then looking in it. Indeed, just out of reach of Anorith's claws are two brown wires that can be connected together.

"Good job Anorith" *He patted the little bug-like pokemon ont he head for a moment then reached his arms in to connect the last two wires* "I hope this works..."

Your fingers fumble for a bit until they wrap arounf the wires and connect them togeter...there is click and a small row of barely visible lights head for the doors into the back...still...there is one more lock somewhere...
