Recon thinks for a bit.
Recon: That's pretty impressive, sir! Does it link up with the Pokédex network, or is it independant?
Recon checks around a bit for a glimpse of this device.

"It can work either way." The Devon man brags, "By linking with the pokedex you can get even more information on the pokemon than usual. Also, the Nav can connect with certain terminals and upload new information directly from the Pokemon League for information of Gym Leaders and trainers that give you their League Number. Then you can e-mail them through the wireless router to speak with them."

Recon: Are these pokénav's already on the market? Or are you still testing them? And where do you have these terminals set-up?

The Davon man moves through a few cubicles, looking in on them for a specific one, "The regular pokenav is already on the market, however the new one is still in beta testing. The new one will give extra information from pokemon breeders and include training tips on the specific pokemon you ask about. It is also supposed to be able to connect with trainers in Johto and Kanto..." he pops his head into a certain cubicle, "Here we are! Young man, I'd like you to meet the head of our Pokenav project, Chris Pin."

Recon relunctantly offers his hand.
Recon: Hello Mr. Pin, I've heard a lot of interestings things about your project, it's really incredible, the implications for people to understand and interact with pokémon are astounding!
Recon smiles shyly.

Mr. Pin takes your hand, giving it a firm shake, "Thank you very much. Please call me Chris." he reaches out for the briefcase, and opens it up on the counter, "Looks like everything is here." he then pops a disk into the computer. "With the research in this briefcase I'll be able to fully release the new pokenav. Still, I need someone who can take the new information to the other pokecenters." The Devon businessman comments, "Well, this young man helped out with getting the research back." Chris blinks and then turns back to Recon, "Really now? Well...I certainly can't let that go unrewarded either. How about it, will you take the connection program to the other pokecenters? The one in this town is completed."

Even though Recon didn't really care for a reward, he wonders why it would be more servitude.
Recon: Sure, I could back track back to Oldale Town, and Petalburg, those are the only other Pokémon Centers I know of though, well except for the one in Lillycove, where I'm from, but I'm guessing I could ask one of the nurses where any others are in Hoenn.
Recon smiles and looks over at the computer.

Chris shakes his head, "No need to ask for that. You'll be getting one of the brand new pokenav's. We need to test it out, but if the connections aren't up then we won't have Hoenn wide information." he pauses a moment, "Of course each, each time you make a connection, it will tell us and we'll send an item to your PC."

Recon's draw visibly drops. and after a few seconds he collects himself.
Recon: Wow, umm this is an honor, I'd love to test it out for you..
Recon thinks to himself for a bit, remembering the only items he's ever recieved via PC were socks and underwear from his mother and step-father, and once he recieved a very delicious slice of birthday cake, from someone unknown, which he was reluctant to eat, but ended up eating anyway, and sharing with his mudkip because it was hard to resist.
Recon: It's not necissary to send me items though, I'm willing to do this just for the oppertunity to have this amazing device.
Recon beams at Chris.

Chris gives a chuckle and shakes his head, "Nonsense, we get a lot of useful items for trainers coming through here and I am sure that more than a few might come in useful for you, perhaps even a few items that aren't on the market quite yet." He then turns back to the computer and smiles, seeing the download is done. He then takes a small yellow device from the desktop and flips it on, checking to make sure the download worked, "Perfect..." he then offers the device to Recon, "Here you are, one updated Pokenav. Just use the wireless system at the Pokecenters and the PC's there will automatically update."

Recon carefully takes the device from, and studies it to figure out how it flips in and out.
Recon: Thank you, if anything the items may help out my pokémon. So, all I need to do is connect to the wireless network at any center, and it all updates automatically? That seems simple enough to do.
Recon smiles.
((If his assumption is correct he'll thank chris and shake his hand once more, then he'll thank the Devon man.))
Recon: I promise that I'll do my best, I'd really like to see this system flourish.
((To speed anything up, Recon will go with the Devon guy anywhere else if he's still showing him around, unless there's another situation you want to happen, but otherwise he'll go through with anything until he's expected to leave and accomplish their request.))

The Devon guy will show you around to the other people, namely the man working on regenerating fossils and the guy working on controling people through webcomics, then lead you back down to the secretary on the first floor. He'll hold out his hand to shake, "Thank you again for all that you have done and are going to do. We at Devon Corp appreciate what you are doing and if you ever wish to stop by you are free to visit. Also, if you have questions for us, feel free to e-mail Chris. He's on the Pokenav. Take care."

((Heeeey... that webcomic guys looks oddly familiar..))
Recon shakes hands with the Devon man.
Recon: I'll try to keep in touch.
He then leaves heading towards Route 104 and Petalburg Woods.
((Could you add the Pokénav to my list of items? And add these natures for my pokémon?
Marshtomp - Impish Ninjask - Hasty Ditto - Lonely
And feel free to organize the profile, especially the item list, in anyway you see fit))

(^_^ I couldn't resist)
Route 4 is as abuntant in nature and fairly unskilled trainers as ever. However, once you near the Flower shop is when you actually see someone interesting. One of the teachers, Ms. Aroma if you remember right, is currently coming out of the flower shop, followed by her ever constant companion Bellossom. She will give a bright smile, "Well Mr. Recon. You seem to be off in quite a hurry today. Something special planned?"

((Is she a teacher from the trainer's school?))
Recon bows, comming out of the bow he keeps his eyes lowered.
Recon: Ms Aroma, what a suprise! I'm in no hurry really, just having an unusually good day, How are you doing?
