Recon smiles wide.
Recon: Ninjask's speed, accompanied by Quick Claw, that'd give me a pretty good chance to get off a good first attack.
Recon looks at his Ninjask to guage it's health.
Recon: As for fainting, she just needs to keep her health up, even though Petal Dance is fairly strong, Grass-techniques still aren't too effective on Bug and Flying -types, and Ninjask is both! Ninjask, LEECH LIFE!!

Ms. Aroma nods, "True, that is very true, but sometimes you have to worry about the power of an attack as well."
Ninjask is assulted on all sieds by whirling petals that smack and sting, even as it bites Belle to drain life. In the end, Ninjask manages to retreat to safety before it's assulted too much. Bellossom starts to wind down the attack, its spinning become less purposeful and more...dizzy...

Recon: Why do you think I chose to attack towards the end of Petal Dance? I have faith in my Ninjask, and I have faith in what you taught me, and one of those things you taught me was..
Recon relaxes his pose and points at the teetering Bellosom.
Recon: At the end of Petal Dance.. The user becomes confused! And confusion can be dangerous for a pokémon...
Recon stops pointing at Bellossom.
Recon: Ninjask, Use Leech Life and restore some health!

Ms. Aroma smiles broadly as Ninjask dashes in to finish off the confused Bellossom. "Very good. I'm glad you were paying attention on that lesson. It seems you have won this battle. Belle, return to me." The bellossom turns to red and disappears into its pokeball. "Now, it seems I owe you an item as well, am I correct?"

Recon holds out his pokéball in the direction of Ninjask.
Recon: You've done a fine job girl, RETURN!! And have a nice rest so I can look for some Pecha and Oran berries..
The pokéball fires out a beam of energy which converts Ninjask into energy and pulls said energy back into the ball. Afterwards, Recon attaches the ball to his belt and walks over to his former teacher.
Recon: You don't have to Ms. Aroma, sometimes in the heat of battle, we say things we don't always mean.

Ms. Aroma shakes her head, "True, but when have you known me to lose my head in battle? I give a Quick Claw to all my best students and you certainly earned one." From her pocket she removes a Quick Claw and offers it to Recon, "You never know when it might come in handy. As for Pecha berries, I believe there are a few on the other side of the flower shop."

Recon gladly accepts the Quick Claw and smiles at the teacher.
Recon: I wish I had been able to earn this back when I was actually in your class, might have come in handy against Roxanne.
Recon bows once more to Ms. Aroma
Recon: Thank you Ms. Aroma, I'll come back to visit you someday, and maybe we can have another battle, and you can give me some pointers on raising grass types, since I plan on catching one soon.
((After she says her goodbye, Recon will look for those Pecha berries, and some Oran berries if possible, and he'll spend a while using his Mortar and pistol to make some medicine for Ninjask, go ahead and attach the Quick Claw to Ninjask on my profile, because Recon will attach it as soon as Ninjask is called out for the medicine, if there aren't any Oran berries, Recon will head back to the Pokémon Center to heal Ninjask, if that happens, I have some things I'd like to do while I'm there, but I can wait till the next center if I do find the berries.))

Ms. Aroma gives a small laugh, "You are very welcome Mr. Recon and I look forward to seeing you again and battling as well. If you're looking for a good grass type that is in this area, I would reccommend catching the Shroomish. If for no other reason than the dual type it turns into if treated well."
The berry pushes are not hard to find at all, two bushes of Oran Berries and one bush of Pecha berries. All berries fresh and ripe for the picking. It is only moments later that Ninjask is healed and ready to go once more.

After healing his Ninjask, he gives her a gentle hug, being careful not to damage her wings, then recalls her into her pokéball. He takes a short time to collect some extra berries, and water the plants so they can produce more later on.
Recon: There, don't want these guys to wither away.
Recon then proceeds towards Petalburg Woods, PokéNav in hand, Checking if he can find a list of pokémon he might encounter in there, wondering if there's any he never met, while he lived in there for a short while.
((If I find any berries, just add them to my inventory please.))

The Pokenav whirrs to life, giving you slightly more information than you had expected. First, it lets you know that Ms. Aroma was registered with the Pokenav system. You may now contact her by e-mail if you like. It then does as you request, searching for the information on Petalburg woods.
"Petalburg woods: Common pokemon, Poochyena, Zigzagoon, Wurmple, Cascoon, Silcoon, Taillow, Shroomish, Slakoth. Rumors: Very rarely a small brown pokemon with ice attacks is seen here for short times lookking for truffles. A few trainers claim to have seen a red Shroomish."

Recon squints at the Pokénav, and looks for information on small brown pokémon with ice attacks that dine on truffles.
Recon <Talking to himself>: A red shroomish? I've heard of pokémon that are shiney, and have alternate colors due to this sheen, but I've never seen a shiney shroomish, it could perhaps be shiney, or something completely different.
Recon continues walking while studying the Pokénav.

The only information that comes up in the Pokenav is the picture of a small brouwn lump with stripes names Swinub, a ground/ice type pokemon. It sometimes travels into areas thick in mushrooms during the winter to find truffles.

Recon looks at the image with wonder.
Recon: Doesn't seem to fast with those short legs, but speed isn't everything, it also seems well suited to it's enviroment if it's an ice type. I'm sure it'd make an excellent friend, I'd be happy catching it, or a shroomish, shiney or not, when I get to Petalburg Woods, I'll have to look for either.
((And that's what I'm doing, when I arrive in Petalburg Woods I'm going to look for signs of red and brown, red being the easiest to spot I guess, and I'm also going to be heading towards the direction of my old tree fort.))

There is a slight nip in the air running through the woods, and only a few trainers passing through on he way to Rustboro. It isn't until Recon is near his old fort that you will see a flash of red in the bushes that seems to run in the direction of the fort. Something seems to have moved in there since you left...

Recon almost loses himself in hope.
Recon <Talking to himself>: This may be that red shroomish the pokénav mentioned.
Recon quietly heads in the direction he saw the red flash running, hoping he can approach Shroomish without threatening it.
